UW's Forefront backs effort to engage gun dealers and pharmacies on suicide prevention

A University of Washington (UW)-based group is helping to craft new legislation that aims to enlist pharmacists as well as gun owners and dealers in the state’s fight against suicide. Among other provisions, House Bill 2793 would create a Safe Homes Task Force to provide suicide prevention training for pharmacy schools and firearm enthusiasts.
