Augusta, Ga.-based Southeastern Development Associates purchased land in the Nexton development, near the intersection of Interstate 26 and U.S. Highway 17A in Summerville, to build a Residence Inn by Marriott. Construction will begin in June, and the hotel is expected to open in the summer of 2017.
