B Sports Entertainment purchased the Charleston Battery professional soccer club, its associated USL franchise and the MUSC Health Stadium property on Daniel Island for an undisclosed amount. The team was previously owned by a group of Charleston businesspeople led by tech entrepreneur Tony Bakker.
