The median price of homes sold in South Carolina last year increased 6.2% from 2014, to about $172,000, according to a year-end market report from the S.C. Association of Realtors. In the Charleston Trident area, 16,237 homes were sold last year at a median price of $229,000. Those homes were on the market for an average of 62 days.
