The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Charleston District, is set to receive $21.3 million for several of its major civil works projects, according to President Obama’s fiscal year 2017 budget. Around $20 million of it will go toward Charleston Harbor and Cooper River maintenance and dredging work.
