Adding subcutaneous dupilumab to mometasone furoate nasal spray reduced endoscopic nasal polyp burden, according to new research. Dupilumab has been shown to benefit patients with asthma and atopic dermatitis. The study, which involved 60 adults with chronic sinusitis and nasal polyposis refractory, compared subcutaneous dupilumab (a 600 mg loading dose followed by 300 mg weekly) with placebo plus mometasone furoate nasal spray for 16 weeks.
